skydiving: exhilarating

me! (8-1-10)

thrill seeking at it’s best. Sure people do it all the time. but I was actually doing it now.

First the long plane ride up and all that kept racing through my head was if I still wanted to go through with it (too late to turn back…) and of course things like what would happen if i died, how high we were going, if the thunder and rain would pick up again, I should have gone to the bathroom again just in case etc. you know, happy thoughts of course. Then it was time and as the plane tilted and i was all strapped to the professional, as we fell out… i was really doing it! and…

Free fall. just amazing. wanted to fly forever

Then kapoof! the parachute comes out and now we’re just gliding and I am able to really take in the beauty of the Jersey Shore. Tadas (my instructor, and only lifeline for that brief period of time if you think about it) let me do some cool tricks like spinning and turning etc. And might I add, I’m pretty sure we had a perfect landing as I gently set my feet back on the ground and my brain was allowed to fully confirm that I survived.

oh how did the summer wane away in such a rapid interval of time… the distance i traveled this summer amounted to far greater than ever of what I have traveled to in my lifetime until now. this trade for a hardworking (in addition to exhausting, challenging, frustrating) summer in exchange for this whole new world of experience and perception, is one of little regret, but rather a fulfillment in the satisfaction of a curiosity explored of life on the other side (of the US), sure i didn’t travel outside the country and i could be being dramatic, baby steps baby steps, i have only been in CA (which i appreciate so much more immensely now) my whole life. REAL Philly cheesesteak: DELICIOUS. Host family: <3. New Jersey: (saying with accent) lots of trees…bugs (like BIG BUGS) humidity and yeah. haha, jk, it wasn’t that bad~ there were things to do, like theme parks and the beach (that you have to pay for! =O) still fun :) but oh New York, oh wow New York! what a wonderful, exciting, place to be and just take in! i do wish i was able to truly immerse myself into it as I had planned, but another time! i am content for now with what i was able to experience. just pure awesomeness. i was your ultimate tourist  :) must see broadway, must be there new years eve, maybe even live there? who knows, one day, not my whole life, but some part of it.

13 states (i believe). of cross country travel. awesome. and the drive really wasn’t draining or anything torturous at all. built some long lasting friendships and was just really relaxing while watching the world pass me by… without a care…now to plan a road trip with my BFF’s ~ you know who you are ;)

However one thing i do not want to experience too much of for a long time is being apart from my family for too large of increments in time(this includes much of the school year as well) I really do love them.

And the same goes for my closest best buddies!

Remembrances of further random happenings during the summer shall pop up again in later entries. hehe.

the neglect that this has received shall cease now! :D (unless i start becoming extremely busy again, for which i apologize to you tumbler in advance if my schedule evolves into: noooo sleep, eat eat EAT study study STUDY clubs clubs CLUBS friends friends, miss family family family ~ which i am trying to change! and take it easy like my dear daddio would like me too ^^) Anyways, I would like to turn to this and be one with my own thoughts, daily happenings, & feelings once again, in addition to all the other junk that i’m required/interested in reading ~ it would be nice to see myself talk and document again :) just for life and fun

so afresh hello! (at 3AM hehe)

Yaay to the new world of tumbler! (hehe i guess my journal just isn’t as technologically advanced, so i guess i’ll be sticking with this now hopefully ~ thanks to gealine and victoria ^^) Sharing is caring so lets share our lives and adventures together buddies :) hopefully this can be a nice way for us during the summer… since i’ll be so swamped with my internship (WHICH i’m totally scared for, but i guess i need to take risks and step outside my comfort zone… i mean NEW YORK! *cough cough* JYP building hehe. You must come gealine! I’m still debating on whether to buy those tickets for the concert… but we’ll see!)

Ahh… should be continuing to study but I believe staying up until 4am chatting with friends on meebo, talking about random stuff, taking random pics, catching up, sharing videos etc… beats cramming my head with information that I wouldn’t even retain at this hour anyways keke
